As per Chris Bowers on MyDD and Kos at this site, here's a list of links of stories about Republican candidates that need to be seen. Sorry about any repetition, that's kind of the point here:

Buster's "Sugartime" has played, what do you think?
Wed Feb 02, 2005 at 07:03:19 PM PDT
Update [2005-2-12 18:5:29 by doug r]:"Sugartime" was shown as scheduled on Friday-unfortunately I had to work at the time.
What did you all think?
KCTS Television has decided it will broadcast the "Sugartime" episode of the PBS series Postcards from Buster on Friday, February 11 at 4:30pm. Our sister station KYVE in Yakima will also air the episode at that time. The episode had originally been scheduled to air on February 2, but PBS withdrew the program from the national schedule in response to concerns expressed by some over the content of the program. KCTS was not consulted in this decision. Subsequently, WGBH in Boston, which produces the series, announced it would make the program available to public television stations directly if they wished to broadcast it independently of PBS.
Star Wars Christmas Special

Tom Tomorrow has found this Holiday treat for you at
I'm Just Sayin'
I was "fortunate" enough to receive a bootleg DVD copy of this special as an early Christmas gift. The reason it's a bootleg and a "Holy Grail" of sorts is because Lucas has forbid this special to ever officially see the light of day again. After watching it, I can see why: I have never screamed "Make It Stop! Make It Stop! Make It Stop!" more in my life.

Why do so many people get so upset at the mere mention of
OHIO coupled with
diary and
VOTE and umm...., oh the "f" word
FRAUD.
You know what, there's going to be an inauguration on January 20, 2005.
Then we'll all have some time to get "over it." That is, until the mid-term elections in 2006...
This site is about discussion, arguement and often consensus.
I think our response should be this

How to run an election-the Canadian experience
Sun Nov 14, 2004 at 06:16:49 PM PDT
Every 3-5 years, a federal election is called in Canada.
The campaign last 36 days.
During that time, all candidates that haven't been nominated are nominated (to be fair, an upcoming election is usually no big surprise)-Elections Canada has roughly 10-15 million ballots printed which meet the same standard, but are totally different for each of 308 seats.

If You Can Read This Diary, You Can Hack Diebold
Sun Nov 07, 2004 at 11:35:53 AM PDT
Turns out the Diebold system is so easy to hack, if you can get your Windows machine to go online,
YOU can hack their system.
Excellent article in
Wired:
In January 2003, voting activist Bev Harris was holed up in the basement of her three-story house in Renton, Washington, searching the Internet for an electronic voting machine manual, when she made a startling discovery.
Clicking on a link for a file transfer protocol site belonging to voting machine maker Diebold Election Systems, Harris found about 40,000 unprotected computer files. They included source code for Diebold's AccuVote touch-screen voting machine, program files for its Global Election Management System tabulation software, a Texas voter-registration list with voters' names and addresses, and what appeared to be live vote data from 57 precincts in a 2002 California primary election.
