Why is Mark Warner Richard Perle's Second favorite Democrat?

Tue Jun 13, 2006 at 03:06:41 AM PDT

I would like to hear what Gov. Warner has to say about foreign policy. But so far it does not seem to be very encouraging. This includes the article here on the daily kos by  Natasha - link: http://www.dailykos.com/...
And the praise he received from the PNAC's own Richard Perle. link:

d-KOS this BusinessWeek Online Poll on Bush

Tue Aug 30, 2005 at 02:00:25 AM PDT

Sorry, but since I cannot say that this poll has been freeped--I don't know what else to call it.
Once again let me say that we all know that online polls are not the least bit scientific and they will certainly not in and of themselves change the world.  But, they do have some benefit in shaping perception and sending a message to the MSM. Considering the source of this poll, I think this one is particularly important. The results so far might surprise you - also considering the source.

The Question?

President Bush returns to the White House on Wednesday, Aug. 31, after a five-week vacation at his ranch in Crawford, Tex. What kind of job is he doing as the nation's chief executive?

Tell NBC, CBS and ABC - Genocide IS News

Wed Aug 24, 2005 at 07:08:29 PM PDT

I just received this E-mail from the good people at bearwitness.org----Link:

http://action.beawitness.org/action.jsp

"Some of you may know about the ongoing genocide in Darfur, even though there has been an appalling lack of media coverage of this tragedy. I have recently joined an online campaign organized by the American Progress Action Fund and the Genocide Intervention Fund to ask our major TV news networks to be a witness to genocide by providing more coverage of Darfur.

To help pressure them, APAF and GIF filmed a TV ad which contrasts the near round the clock coverage of Michael Jackson, Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and the Runaway Bride as compared to the lack of coverage of Darfur. It is an incredibly powerful ad, so powerful that members of our community have donated money to air the ad on the very networks that have not covered the genocide. I have just learned that NBC-4, CBS-9 and ABC-7 in Washington, DC have refused to air the ad.

I am asking you today to please go to www.beawitness.org/action today and tell these stations to air the ad."

Tue Aug 23, 2005 at 09:50:47 PM PDT

We all know that online polls are far from scientific and they will not in and of themselves change the world.  However, they can help shape perception and bolster the troops.
This is an MSNBC poll going on right now.
The question: Do you agree with President Bush that anti-war protesters such as Cindy Sheehan are advocating a policy that would weaken the United States?

Total Votes: 287,235

The second question:

Do you agree with Sheehan's tactics?

Yes, we all know that online polls are not the least bit scientific.  We also know that online polls will not in themselves change the course of human history.  But they are in the news.  And news helps shape perceptions.

The question: Was Bush right to appoint Bolton as U.N. ambassador without a Senate vote?

Yes, yes I know that online polls are not the least bit scientific.  Nonetheless it won't hurt to see a big majority in a major local TV station"s poll. There is evidence that they may have some "propaganda" value. Let's give this campaign every boost we can give it.
