Chain Email - Help!

Please help me annoy a Republican today!
Every once in awhile, my Mother-In-Law likes to forward chain emails to me which "prove" that today's lefties are an evil, craven bunch and I shouldn't hang out with them (much less be one.)
Usually, I either ignore them or jump out to Snopes to debunk the latest faux facts. (I am absolutely convinced that Karl Rove writes these things in his spare time) This time I thought I would appeal to the tremendous knowledge of all you Kossacks.
Today's missive is about Hollywood ... so here it is (try not to punch the monitor when you get to the end - it hurts!)
Hey - nice screen name!

As I read through various postings I am always curious about how people arrived at their screen names. Are they 'you?' Is it a name you use just for Kos, or do you use it everywhere online?
I've had my screen name for over 10 years now - its a character in my favorite book "Tigana" by Guy Gavriel Kay. Catriana was a woman fighting to restore her homeland - a land so utterly destroyed that even its name couldn't be heard unless the listener was born there.

Having It All - The Health Care Crisis
Sat Jan 08, 2005 at 02:48:30 PM PDT
This morning I was reading a very heartwarming story about two formerly conjoined twins -
Erin and Jade Buckles - who were separated successfully about 6 months ago. Although Erin was partcally paralyzed during the surgery, her parents are thankful that both their girls are alive, healthy and developing well.
At the end of the article, however, a brief mention of the costs involved caught my eye ...
The family, which includes Kevin Jr., a seventh-grader, moved from a three-bedroom townhouse in December. The larger home means a longer commute for Kevin, a Marine gunnery sergeant who travels extensively with the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps, but as medical bills climbed toward
$2 million, they traded proximity for affordability.
The charges not covered by insurance worry them, although Melissa, 31, worries more than Kevin, 35. "Our concern is our family," he said. "We did what we had to do."

What do you believe in??

I think its time for us to stop running away from the left wing of our party. If we truly believe in saving the environment, gay rights, a sound public education system, a living wage and a decent affordable health care system, then we need to stand up and say so.
As a middle of the road Dem all my life, I am tired of trying to tiptoe around the center and not ruffle any feathers. I believe in those things - I truly, truly do - and I want to be a member of a party that supports those ideals.
