I'm keepin this short and sweet.
Pretty much sums up what his campaign is about
Obama campaign feels like a movement is growing....
Hey guys I seen a few diaries on here critical of Rudy. But lets be honest, the man is liberal on abortion, he very liberal on Gun-Control and he's very liberal when it comes to Gay Rights. Rudy isn't "practically" liberal on social issues HE IS LIBERAL ON Social issues!
I'll keep it short and sweet.
Jim Webb's son is fighting a war that most Right Wingers feel is the greatest threat our nation has had sine WWII.
HE VOLUNTEERED to defend our nation!
He may have nearly been killed this week
While at the same time the Bush Twins were PARTYING in Argentina.
Think about that.
Dean goes, I'll spite Democrats and won't vote for jack shit.
Wont send them a goddamn nickle.
Wont send a goddam email.
Wont do a damn thing.
I'll vote Green party SPECIFICALLY TO HURT THEM.
I will encourage ALL On the left to do the same.
Wanna mess around James? Wanna see how quick Democrats go in the doghouse???
LEAVE HOWARD ALONE!
Nothing, unless we continue to press the issue
That's right gang WE CONTROL THE LEGISTALTURE!! WE SET THE AGENDA! We must remind them EVERYDAY who we are and what we expect. They work for us...THE PEOPLE!
So guys start writing!
Let me know what you guys think!
From the first debate in Coral Gables:
And long before President Bush and I get a tax cut -- and that's who gets it -- long before we do, I'm going to invest in homeland security and I'm going to make sure we're not cutting COPS programs in America and we're fully staffed in our firehouses and that we protect the nuclear and chemical plants.
The president also unfortunately gave in to the chemical industry, which didn't want to do some of the things necessary to strengthen our chemical plant exposure.
And there's an enormous undone job to protect the loose nuclear materials in the world that are able to get to terrorists.
Now Rethuglicans want us to wait. They claim that we must help the victims first before investigating the Katrina debacle. As if this country, which placed a man on the moon is incapable of doing both; simultaneously assisting the victims and investigating our miserable initial response.
So when is the time? When the Karl Rove and the rest of the Administration is able to get it's story straight? When they figure out a way to blame it on liberals? No, we did that 4 years ago after 9/11. We went along for the sake of the country and look what it got us? (I don't mean us as Democrats I mean us as a nation.)
If you haven't Crooks and Liars has a clip of his apperance.
Do yourself a favor. Watch that clip then read this diary by Djtyg
Then ask yourself whats wrong with this picture?
Twenty years ago the powerless citizens from a South American nation living under a "junta" opted for regime change. Since elections were rigged, protests restricted, and freedom of the press supressed (does this all sound too familiar?), it was up to the silent majority to empower themselves. Once a week after sundown the people turned off their house lights, banged their pots, rattled their pans, rang bells, clanged pipes, and made enough noice to let their illigitimate government know they were out there and they weren't happy.
I just got fed up with Democrats attacking Dean cause he stick up for us:
Please forward this to Biden, Richardson and any other Democrat that doesn't get it.
ENOUGH! With the in fighting! Enough with beating up on Dean! Enough with the bellyaching about how we talk about Republicans! ENOUGH!
Stop acting like pussies! Dean is doing a great job! We need his leadership HIS SPINE! A spine that many of you in the Democratic party no longer have!
A significant part of the insurgents' money is coming from sympathizers in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi government is neglecting the problem, said the official, who was authorized by the Pentagon to speak on the issue this week, but only on condition of anonymity.
Money is flowing into Iraq through Syria, the official said.
