SAO PAULO, Brazil (CNN) -- Heavy black smoke poured into the air and bright orange flames lit the night sky in Sao Paulo after a passenger plane skidded across a road and crashed into a building Tuesday.

My father is working there. He had to rush off the phone. Heard many very large explosions. Doesn't know why. Could be weapons cache, industrial accident, or worse.

Nothing on the news wires yet.

From Aaron brown's roundtable (sorry, no transcript yet), we've been challenged to do exactly what Kos said we should:

Am I the only one worried that the new Electronic Voting Machies will be tampered by Rove to give Bush the election, and there will be nothing the courts can do to stop them?

Rove was quoted as saying that "the polls are wrong, we will win Ohio and Florida".

I'm sure that if they can change the votes, they will. Why isn't the EVM issue at the forefront of our efforts?
