October 2002, Iraq War Resolution. Put up or shut up.

Fri Dec 08, 2006 at 10:25:15 AM PDT

There has been quite a bit of back and forth about Democratic presidential hopefuls and their vote for the war.  Some who still claim that it was the right thing at the time, etc. etc.  Living in DC and being "inside the beltway" obviously changes you.  We saw that with Al Gore in 2000 - overly managed, fearful, not sure of himself.  We see him now - confident, passionate. Prescient.

With that said, I've always wondered if my fellow Kossacks would honestly be able to respond to a poll about what they would have done had they been in Washington as representative to the people.

You may, if you wish, explain your vote.  Remember, this is October 2002.

Also, please don't shut up.

Poll

If you were a Congressperson or Senator in October 2002, only knowing what you knew back then and considering the fallout from 9-11 and the country's mood, what would your vote be on the Iraq War Resolution?
