What is the President hiding?

Tue Jul 26, 2005 at 07:05:50 PM PDT

Below is the message I'd like to hear repeated over and over again in the media and in conversations across the country. This is the message that, in my opinion, will have traction with the average American who doesn't read the blogs and doesn't follow politics as closely as you and I. The message is very simple, yet strikes right at the heart of everything that is wrong with Bush and his band of criminals.
  • The Bush administration refuses to comment on the Plame leak even though senior administration officials are implicated in the leak. What are they hiding?

  • The Bush administration refuses to address questions raised by the Downing Street Memo or release internal documents about the war planning. What are they hiding?

  • The Bush administration refuses to disclose the intercepts requested and received by Bolton, even to fellow republicans. What are they hiding?

  • The Bush administration refuses to release documents pertaining to SCOTUS nominee Roberts from the time he worked with Kenneth Starr. What are they hiding?

  • The Bush administration refuses to follow a court order and release photos of the abuses at Abu Ghraib. What are they hiding?

  • The Bush administration threatens to veto a $442 billion defense spending bill if fellow republicans are successful in getting an amendment added that would set up a commission to investigate operations at Guantanamo Bay. What are they hiding?
